living-vision-logo_no-words2.jpgEveryday has the potential to be a storm.  Some days “life” just happens.  Our days do not always go as planned or our “to-do” list is longer at the end of the day then at the beginning and the pressures of life just build up.  During these days are when we have a tendency to lower the bar we have set or to let our values drop a bit to get by.  I mentioned in an email a few months ago, that you as Directors, have an added responsibility to hold the bar high for your staff.  We as humans tend to move toward what we see in our minds, and what we typically see in our minds is the way we live our life daily.  You will tend to respond to those stormy days the way you live your life or the way you “train” yourself daily. Opps! A Little Problem!

For those of you looking through my sight, let me explain why you see a bunch of postings over a short period of time in January. I started this sight in August and have been writing articles weekly. However, a few days ago, my database that stored all my content was deleted by accident. Therefore, I had to start this sight from scratch and add all my articles back. Please excuse the error. Executive Director of Distance Learning – Job Description Liberty University

Ron Kennedy, the Executive Director of Liberty University Distance Learning, has an enrollment of over 28,000 online students. He oversees a staff of 160 individuals to include marketing, data management, processing, admissions, new student enrollment, training financial aid call center and academic advising. He directs and leads in the development and implementation of the department’s philosophy, mission, goals and objectives. He is responsible for the administration and overall operation of the Distance Learning Program while meeting aggressive enrollment and retention goals. This includes, reviewing and evaluating the results of program activities, ensuring that continuing contractual obligations are being fulfilled; allocating resources for greater program effectiveness; and efficiency; developing organizational and administrative policies and program objectives for Board consideration. In addition, he oversees the financial management of the department, including the development and implementation of the annual budget.
