Bedford County, VA Youth Football…Boonsboro Broncos improve to 3-1
Game 4 is officially over and we are now 3-1. We were able to pull off another second half victory against the S C& G 7-8 team from Stanton River with a score of 20-13. We jumped out to a 6-0 lead after our first possession, however on the their first play from scrimmage, their QB took it outside , broke a few tackles and just like that we were down 6-7. We came back possession two and we scored to make t 12-7 before half-time. They get the ball after the break and score to make it 13-12. We drive down and score to make it 20-13 just in the 4th quarter. On their next drive their QB breaks another run. However, when he is at our 20 yard line, he drops the ball. No one is around him, my kids are chasing him 10 yards behind the play. Fortunately, we recover his fumble and then grind out 3 first downs to kill the remaining 5 minutes of the game for the victory.
